Sometimes the subject knowledge is there…we just need to learn to access it effectively. Each session is tailored to the individual student, covering everything from planner use to review skills. Helpful for students who struggle to apply themselves to the material.

Got a specific goal? Awesome. We’ll work on building a core strategy to address any weak points, as well as practicing test-specific tricks and skills. With increased self-confidence and a wider array of mental tools, you’ll feel ready to get your best score ever!

About me!
I’ve been teaching for over 20 years, in every imaginable context: algebra instruction in French-speaking West Africa with the Peace Corps, leading at-risk inner-city youth in tall ship sail training, tutoring with multiple private organizations, and of course a wide variety of classroom teaching!
BUT my very favorite kind of teaching is one-on-one and small-group tutoring. I genuinely love meeting new students and finding ways to make their lives easier. I’m a born problem solver, so if you feel like you’ve got a problem, please give me a call!
