Academic Consulting

Tears on the handout. Blowups over dinner. Falling test scores. We’ve all seen it. You’ve got this brilliant child, and yet they’re failing to flourish in school. What’s going on? In some cases, this is steered by difficulties with executive functioning - the mental habits and skills that let us succeed and meet goals. But, good news - these skills and habits are teachable! And developing them is actually ridiculously fun and rewarding. It’s a win-win-win.
$50-$75/hour (recommend ~2x/week)
Let’s face it, standardized tests like the SAT, ACT, SBAC and more can be scary! I take a gentle, student-based approach to build motivation and take fear out of the equation. Of course, we’ll also cover tons of specific skills, tips and tricks to have your student scoring higher in no time!
